Motorcycle Technician: Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our busy and highly successful workshop team working with two of the UK Motorcycle Market's top brands.

The successful candidate must have experience of modern motorcycles and be able to use current diagnostic equipment. From time to time you may also be required to talk to customers and as such you must be able to communicate clearly and provide technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Technician with substantial knowledge of working on all makes of motorcycles, ideally with Triumph and/or Yamaha. You should have the ability to work as part of a team whilst delivering an efficient rate of work and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Essential

You should be able to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner to high exacting standards.

You must be a self-starter with a flexible can do attitude and a good attention to detail. You must possess a "right first time" attitude to your work and have a passion for all things two wheels. Your work will be of a high standard and you will be conscientious with a genuine desire to go the extra mile to meet our customer’s needs. You should also hold a full UK motorcycle licence.

Motorcycle Salesperson Job Description

We are looking for a Motorcycle Salesperson to join our busy and highly successful sales team selling two of the UK Motorcycle Market's top brands.

You should already have sales experience, ideally from within a motorcycle or automotive retail environment, together with a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

  • To manage and develop all new and used motorcycle sales enquiries.
  • To maximise the sale and profitability of all new and used motorcycle sales using every tool at your disposal.
  • To ensure that all key performance indicators and target objectives are met.
  • To maximise the sale of clothing & accessories as part of the sale process.
  • To maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Using established follow up & prospecting techniques to maximise customer loyalty and retention.
  • To assist management in maintaining and developing showroom policy and procedures.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years sales experience ideally in the motorcycle or automotive industries.

Also a good business acumen and desire to offer excellent customer service, whilst maximising opportunities is a must.

Essential

It is essential that candidates should possess a can-do attitude and a willingness to improve and learn. You must be target driven and the sort of person who has an outstanding record of sales achievement. A passion for all things two wheels is also a must.
